Barbara Reinhart
Barbara Reinhart’s work in ceramic sculpture, drawing and painting is connected through her long-term involvement with figurative/narrative themes and content. The past year’s exhibitions of her work include “By Hand”; a group wood fired ceramic show at the Peninsula Fine Arts Center in Newport News, Virginia. She was included in 500 Figures in Clay; Ceramic Artists Celebrate the Human Form published by Lark Books in 2004.
Reinhart earned her master of fine arts degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and is an assistant professor of art at the University of Wisconsin-Waukesha. Her home and studio are located in Dousman, Wisconsin at Composite Clay Studio where she has worked and lived since 1984.
